define crisis recovery?
It is the process of returning to yourself after your body, mind, or life fell apart. It isn’t linear, it isn’t fast, and it doesn’t mean you’re “fixed.” It means you’re still here.
what is an ostomy?
It is a surgery to create an opening (stoma) from an area inside the body to the outside. It treats certain diseases of the digestive or urinary systems. It can be permanent, when an organ must be removed. It can be temporary, when the organ needs time to heal.
